I have a master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on gerontology.  I am licensed by the Virginia State Board of Social Work Examiners. 

I have an advanced case management certification and an ACSW certification from the National Association of Social Workers.  I have worked as a clinical social work therapist in clinical mental health settings and have been a medical social worker in hospice and home health organizations.

In these settings, I have done bereavement, planning, and leadership training.  More recently, I have facilitated support groups on grief and loss, and caregiving.

My recent clinical focus has been to work with adults of all ages, regardless of gender, or background, who have been going through short or long-term life challenges.
